Freeroll 4 of the Fourth Betfair Grand Prix was played on Monday night, attracting 763 eager runners plus eight PokerPlayers, all with attack in mind.
It was a ruthless freeroll all told, with aggressive play and cutting banter in big supply. It was 2,000 chips apiece, 15 minutes levels with blinds starting at 10/20.
First to go was Grand Prix III winner derbyred in 627th, who lasted all of 30 minutes, and didn't win a hand, losing the majority of his chips with trip Jacks against a rivered flush, after a 25 times the Big Blind bet on the turn didn’t put anybody off.
