LEOCOP IV Main Event result

Results from the record breaking 00+0 LEOCOP IV Main Event

The Ladbrokespoker.com festival LEOCOP IV, with 0,000 added money, has been played by some 4,370 players who shared in a total prize pool of over m. The LEOCOP IV festival culminated in the 00 + 0 Main Event with 0,000 added, drawing comparisons with the WSOP final table that also kicked off on Sunday evening.

Edward Ihre, MD of Ladbrokes Poker, said: "We attracted a good field and the money added generated a record breaking prize pool of gigantic proportions for the 600+ runners, 8,000, which easily made it the best value online tournament for an age."

Poker pros, who are experts in spotting the best value tournaments online, made sure they took their seats in the last night of the LEOCOP festival. Former WSOP Bracelet winners, WSOP final tablists and a final tablist in the WSOPE were just some of the few familiar poker circuit names that made an appearance as they tried to secure their slice of the LEOCOP IV Main Event massive online prizepool."

Ed Ihre continued: "Ladbrokes Poker is really proving to be a lucky talisman for the Danes. At the same time hahila was dominating the final table - and eventually winning 0,000 after over 14 hours of play - Peter Eastgate, who flew out to Las Vegas as part of Team Ladbrokes in July of this year was bossing the WSOP final table. Both events have been great for Ladbrokes Poker this year."

As predicted, the LEOCOP Leaderboard was dominated by those that had played and cashed in a number of the festival events, the table showing that the top 23 on the Leaderboard played in at least three of the 16 events.

Along with the winners of each festival event the top 80 will now be invited to play in the Masters Event on the 22nd for the last remaining seat in the semi-final of Poker Million, which guarantees a minimum ,000 payout and a once in a lifetime opportunity to play on TV for a million dollar first prize.

hahila's win in the Main Event takes him to the no 2 spot on the LEOCOP Leaderboard and an extra 00. Former festival event winner James666 clinched pole position by playing and cashing in seven events to win an additional ,000 making his total winnings from LEOCOP IV ,682.

hahila performed brilliantly throughout a tournament which lasted over 14 hours, maintaining his chip lead for most of the final table. A regular player at Ladbrokes, he never risked his tournament life without a huge advantage. His heads-up play from the night before where he secured 5th place was great preparation for the final table as Benno26 gave him a run for his money even taking the chip lead in an exciting pot, leading out on the K-4-2 flop which presented him with two pair, and was called down on three streets by hahila's K-J.

It was pocket queens a few hands later that proved hahila's saviour as Benno26 with Ac-8c pushed with the nut flush draw that never materialised. again losing the chip lead to hahila. In the final hand of the morning (at 9.38am) Kh-Qd was enough to seal the deal for hahila who raised on the button and was called by Benno 26. The flop was Kc-4c-Tc. Benno26 checked and hahila bet 5,000. Benno26 re-raised and hahila did not waste any time before pushing all-in. Benno26 quickly called revealing Ac-2d and needed an ace or club to avoid defeat. hahila's top pair held up and Benno26 left the tourney table in second winning 0,815.
