Poker equipment pointers
Tables buyer's guide

A poker table’s like a bed – you spend a lot of your life using it, but it tends to be one of the things you don’t spend much money on

High-end

The Club Table

£425 (plus £65 delivery)

If you’re serious about your poker, or you have a regular home game, you should consider getting a professional casino-style table – they don’t cost as much as you’d think.

This one’s called The Club, it’s a full-size 240cm table and, like the rest of the pokertablesRus range, comes with folding legs so you can store it out of the way. For about £75 less you can get the same model without the ‘pass’ line, and you can even request a custom design if you’ve got a photo or image you want on your table.

Mid-level

82-Inch Poker Table

£139.99 (plus £5.95 delivery)

Slightly smaller and slightly cheaper, this still seats 10 people (complete with drink-holders). It’s not as solid as the high-end offering, and it’s not as nice to look at – basically you get what you pay for – but if you can’t afford more and you’re not looking to make a long-term investment, it’s a decent punt.

Budget

4-Folding Table Top

£19.99 (plus £14.50 delivery)

One step up from a cloth on a table, this might not be great but it is a great deal better than nothing at all. Just remember to factor in the ridiculous delivery charge.

Skinflint

Texas Hold’em Layout

£13.95 (plus £5.95 delivery)

A cloth on a table, but don’t snigger – this comes complete with ‘pass’ line, and at 90 inches you can trim it down to fit your table perfectly.
