If you answered 'no' to any of the above questions, move along. If, however, you can happily say 'yes' to all three, we're happy to announce the launch of the biggest UK online student poker championship ever. It's a team event, and you'll need to gather a squad of five players if you want to get involved.

How does it work?

There are four qualifying freerolls, one per month for the next four months. To take part, you need to register a team of five students, all of whom are eligible to play in each event. Each freeroll has a prize pool of ,500 which will be split between the final table. In addition, points will be awarded from 50th down to first (from one point up to 50). At the end of the freerolls, the four teams with the most points will be invited to a live grand final, consisting of a series of heads-up matches, with two semi-finals and a final to determine the winning team.

The prizes

• ,500 prize pool for each freeroll
• Travel and accommodation expenses for the 20 playing finalists at the Grand Final at a venue to be agreed
• ,000 split between the final 4 teams (00, 50, 0, 0)
• Individual trophies for all 4 teams (Winners, Runners-Up, Semi-finalists)
• One poker table for each of the four final teams and individual chipsets for all of the individual finalists
