The 2007 Great British Poker Tour was a huge success and the Grand Final saw some of the finest UK players battle for the inaugural title. Neil Channing, Roland de Wolfe and Barny Boatman all made the final table, but when the final cards were turned, Joe 'The Elegance' Beevers was crowned champion, taking down the £87,500 first prize.

The 2008 tour has seen bigger fields and prize money, and the Grand Final is the highlight of the year. You can win a full £2,000 package to the Grand Final main event (December 4-7) and play for a possible first prize of £100,000.

The £2,000 package includes your buy-in to the £1,500 + £100 main event, plus £400 for travel and accommodation. There's also a ,000 prize pool for the runners-up.

How to enter

1. Download the software from www.galapoker.co.uk. Existing account holders are also eligible to play in the freeroll.
2. Open a real money account. You don't need to deposit money to play in the freeroll.
3. Go to the GCBPT section of the Tournament tab, look for the 'GCBPT' PokerPlayer freeroll' on Sunday, November 16 and register using the password found in the magazine.
